Okefenokee Swamp
Submitted by pr8hdff on Tue, 03/09/2010 - 6:41pmJust got back from 3 day kayaking trip through Okee Swamp. Wonderful trip was had by all. Skyway Loop (Pinhoti - Chinnabee - Skyway Trails)
Submitted by tenten321 on Mon, 03/01/2010 - 11:24amJust hiked the Skyway Loop with two friends this weekend and it was GREAT! I've hiked a few other parts of the Pinhoti, and was very impressed with the variety of terrain and features the loop has to offer. Not to mention the amazing Cheaha Creek sections. Quite a few times I chuckled to myself thinking: "people would pay good money to see this!"
We left Montgomery at 12:45 on Friday and got to Adam's Gap by 2:15. I printed out the Skyway Loop trail guide from the Pinhoti Alliance website, which was most useful for finding the trailhead.

We arrived at High Point trailhead about 3:15 pm and hiked in to Davis Mountain Shelter, arriving at 4:20pm, a good walk. They had never even seen a trail shelter before today and immediately fell in love with the place while witnessing a perfect sunset. The shelter was in
