Had a fantastic but rugged hike this past week. 6 days and what a mess the storm of the previous week left behind. Down falls on Sipsey and Bees Branch were massive. Sad to see so many trees taken down and we are talking about huge old trees.Took over an hour and a half to get to the falls, but so worth it. With all of the rain all falls were in full glory. Hiked in on Monday (Borden was waist deep) the 25th,camped two nights on top Falls Rivers Falls then hiked 209 to area just east of Needles Eye.
