Lesley and I go visit amicalola falls in GA

amicolola falls: from the bas of the fallsamicolola falls: from the bas of the fallsLesley and I spent the last weekend in north georgia testing out some new gear and enjoying some peace ad quiet away from home. it was a short trip and we managed to get out the door with only one minor flaw that corrected itself later. We didn't geta  lot of hiking in but wee did visit several places know for AT famesuch as amicolola and Mountain croossings at neals gap. The people there are really cool.

Trapped like a rat by final exams

    So I am trapped in my house today by the dreaded final exams. It's killing me that there is nothing I can do to get out and enjoy the most beautiful day fo the season. This happened last semester as well. Ohhh well, Off I go to study the wonders of american film in the 1970's. I know what a crap class huh.
