Bartram Canoe Trail

If you plan to use the French's Lake kioske launch to access the Bartram Canoe Trail overnight #2 or #3 trail you will have to portage around a significant blowdown as you leave French's Lake. 

I contacted the Alabama Conservation Office and was assured the blowdown was their responsibility to remove and that they would take care of it. 

This blowdown has been there since early this summer.  I just went back to French's Lake the weekend of August 22 to access the Bartram Canoe Trail and found the blowdown is still not removed.
