Pinhoti NRT - Sept 08 conditions report

Several blow downs to report, all are large, but navigable, with minor tree hopping.

1.  Approx 3 miles south of Choccolocco Shelter.

2.  Approx 200 yards south off Laurel Shelter

3.  Approx 100 yards north of the northern end of Highrock Lake.  The area is open, but blazing in this area is non-existant with a tree down right in the middle of the area.

4.  There are several other trees down between Choccolocco Shelter and Shoal Creek Ranger Station, however, all are either below the knee or can be easily crossed by sitting on and sliding over.
