Wolfpen and Hurrcaine Creeks

Well I am just a little behind on getting things posted. but better late than never. hahaha.

On Sat May 24, my husband and I took a short day trip down Wolfpen. We parked at the cem. and followed the orange tape down. The Mnt Laural was in full bloom above the Wolfpen Falls. seeing how Suz already posted something on Wolfpen I will not repeat the details.

On Sunday May 25, We hiked Hurricane Creek. The views of the canyon are wonderful. well worth the bushwhack and the never ending TICKS. you can tell no one ever goes there is no trash or signs of humans other than one campsite and it looked as if it had been years since someone used it. We parked at the fire road and hiked to the start of Hurricane creek. during the hike we walked trough hardwoods as we dropped in to the canyon it changed to Hemlocks and lots of mnt Laural( so nice to look at but a pain to get through.) found three waterfalls some pink Mnt Laural. while we ran out of time before making it to Sipsey. we will be going back. Photos will be posted on my website
