Matthew is not allowed near public grills that close. They tend to collect grease in the interior of the lid and when he opens the lid the conflagration rides the air wave into his face and up his nose. Matt's head is way too flammable to let that happen twice. Also he has a tendency to refuse to use funnels and spill alcohol/fuel, but not really realize it until everything is on fire.

Ironically when we first began camping together Matt could smother a campfire faster than I could fetch a beer. He still has to let me tend fire if we want to keep warm.

That Alcohol stove is pretty much worthless! I am going to see how it stands up as a little wood one. with all those interior parts out it weighs much less and might be a little more compact than my coffee can one.. we'll see.
 The cover over the canister for the alcohol would smoother it every time soooo

And btw I am going to make a down pillow. just to see how well re-purposing a down comforter will work.
