We all have them...  that one place in Alabama that we keep returning to, to spend the night in the woods.

What is that one place that you always look forward to returning to each time you hit the trail?  (Be specific, not just 'any place in the woods is good for me!' answer...)

Me?  The area around Lower Shoal Shelter, on the Pinhoti NRT.  I dont use the shelter for sleeping, I hang my hammock on the two most perfect trees down in front of it right along side where the two creeks converge.  The combination of being in the hammock, the sounds of the woods and the two creeks practically wrapping around 2/3 of my 'space' is the most soothing, relaxing place I have found in Alabama.  I even enjoy listening to the critters crawl about under me as they root around for worms and bugs!
