Looks like we have some fine weather for getting outdoors this weekend. What is everyone doing?

Definately getting outside, unfortunately its for home repairs and yard work.  Sad

Hopefully the weather will hold thru till the Campout.

It's raining here for the first time in weeks. Maybe I'll head out to Delaware Water Gap NRC tomorrow morning if it isn't still raining, but maybe not, since it is a painfully dull ride.

If anybody is heading to LRC,  let me know, because I may have a quick driving mission for you, should you choose to accept it.

My Saturday is taken up with two wedding ceremonies... But I DID get out Wed, Thu, and today!!!  The weather was absolutely beautimous!!!  I love the Fall.   Smiley

Hope everyone gets an opportunity to get out and enjoy GOD's creation during this time of the year.  The colors, smells, and feeling are beyond description.  Fall has always been my favorite time of year.

I gotta work........ I did go to Chinnabee Silent Trail Wednesday though. It was fantastic. Got there at 6am and sat at the overlook in Cheaha SP and got some sunrise pics before heading to the Hwy 281 trail head, did the whole trail, approx. 7 mi. in and out to the lake. Est. temp. to be in the 40's with about 20 knot wind, perfect for hiking. Posted a comment in trail conditions on Cuffs original post. Went for a trial run to see if I could do it. Took me about 5 hrs. to complete with alot of lolly gagging around, not too bad for me toting a 45lb. pack to break me back in!

Hope all of you have a great weekend! I'll probably be back out in TNF on Wed. this comming week for some more hiking. Happy Trails!

Missed the opening of this thread... I was already in North Carolina!  It was incredible!  The leaves are *just* starting to get a bit of color to them, the morning air was brisk, the trails were beautiful and the trip was way too short!

Speaking of leaves...

They are at about 5% change here, but as usual, the Poison Ivy has changed bright red a little before everything else changes, and I'm stunned at how many canopy-level Poison Ivy vines there are here! Several trees have 25-50% of their top mingled with it, and it really seems to be strangling some of them.

I did not get much done this past weekend but I am heading to North Carolina this coming weekend. Going to Cherokee for some trout fishing with the family and I am really looking forward to it.  Cheesy
