I've been down that way before too.  It is an easier *down* but once you leave 205, it's virtually all a bushwhack until you get down the drainage, across West Bee Branch and up the other side to the bluff.  Some might not find that nearly as easy as the ~20 yards of scramble required going the more popular route.  Definitely a good way to go if you're headed to the falls in West Bee.
