I know this is not an event happening in Alabama, but I thought some members might be interested in participating...

A hike in celebration of the life of Meredith Emerson.  Hike details are still in the planning stages, but it will be in the vicinity of Blood Mtn / Mountain Crossings, south of Blairsville, Georgia. 

If you are interested in participating, please contact me here and I will forward you details as they become concrete.

Plan update:

Meeting at Mountain Crossing / Neel's Gap at 10am, carpooling to the Byron Reece Memorial parking area, hiking up the BRH trail, up to the AT, down the AT to Neel's Gap.
