I thought I would pass this information along. Bankhead is broken down into two zones for hunting.when one zone is active the other is not.

Zone A is Sipsey Wilderness active from Dec 27-Jan1 (the big 6 day gun deer hunt)

Zone B is Black Warrior Side active Jan 2-3

Sounds like I don't have to wear orange afterall this Sat.  I probably will anyway though.  Thanks for the info.

You better wear the orange. we were up there on the 29th and the hunters were sitting in the parking lot of the 201/202 trail head when we returned from our hike. He wasn't there when we first entered the trail but the truck was. There was also several other trucks there that were hunters and they were no where in sight.
