That's a great thing and all.......and this may sound selfish, but I have worked on the Red Mountain/Vulcan trail a number of times trying to get it back in working order and never really got much help. Anyone interested in helping with that? One work day and a bunch of bushwhacking equipment would be all it would take.

There is a plan (probably will never get approved) to extend the Red Mt/ Vulcan Trail down the ridge into the Lakeshore/Bessemer area. If there was enough interest in this project going forward, it may actually develop.

Looks like this is now a done deal. Now everybody go and help  procon clear the asphalt off his homewood - mt.brook - vulcan trail.
