I drive over the Mulberry River on Hwy 78 going to and from work... you can see the river 1/2 way up the trees that line the bank... I'v never seen it as high as it is now!!! my sister in law lives in one of the bends and a creek that flows into the river has the road severely flooded.... Drove to the Smith Lake Dam today and the water is to the top of the boat launches. Couldn't tell how far up in the grass it was b/c of it being dark. The bingo place that was flooded is drained pretty good tho...

Where you saw the house and trailers almost under water is the mulberry river... some people call it the little warrior river...

I walked downriver from Swan Bridge to Powell Falls yesterday to check out the falls. Plenty of paddlers out taking advantage of all of the rain. The water had gone down quite a bit but the river was still way up!!
You could see how far the river had overflowed its normal level and the creeks that flow into the Locust Fork were still full. I posted a couple of pictures of some guys going down the falls.
