I don't know if the clean up efforts or just the additional water flow as of late is responsible but Lesley and I were down at riverwalk with the dogs this past weekend and the Cahaba looked GREAT. Water was clear and flow was really nice.

Ahh.  I cross that several times a week and it looked rather high.

The crossing at hwy 280 has really been moving lately too!
