Yes, I like Japanese food. And I've tried my share of grocery store miso. I'm happy to share that I have found a tasty version that can even be taken on the trail. Just add hot water. It weighs less than half an ounce per packet and you can buy it at Whole Foods, Amazon (when available), maybe others places.....I don't know. It's made by San-J and is a White Miso mix. Enjoy!

That would be Miso-Cup. I like those too but the San J is more of what I expect out of miso I guess (meaning that it is more like what they serve at the sushi places round here). It has seaweed as well. I read somewhere that seaweed is supposed to be one of the best things you can eat for nutrients.
