Well my first batch of Pinhoti supplies have arrived.  I ordered a fleece liner for my bag, and another supply of Enertia Trail food.  I have ordered the trail guide from the PTA.  I am starting Feb 6 to take out a few sections.  My goal is to have the whole trail completed by mid summer.

Matthew,

My goal is to knock out the pinhoti in 2 or at the most 3 trips early this year.  I will then thru  hike it  either late this year or early next.

Dude! You're making me look bad! Matt has been on my case the past couple of months to do something similar, sadly school is in the way for the time being. Can we hit you up for tricks and tips later?

I do not intend on doing the "road walk" portion.  I am only doing the woods part.  Well I shouldnt say that as a definite, as I change my mind on a whim.

I would be happy to share any info I can.

You referring to the Alabama Pinhoti  or the whole Pinhoti to the intersection with the BMT ?

I'd be interested in perhaps joining you in Georgia if you'd doing some of it.

My Spring plans are to do the Georgia BMT to TN...  March > April.

I'm interested joining in for a 4 to 7 night hike on the Georgia part of the Pinhoti or any of the BMcKaye when I can get away.   Let me know Mobill, or any of you that sets a specific date.  I might join in for some of the AL Pinhoti as well, but I did see it last year.

mobill I am planning on the AL portion of the Pinhoti.  Although I am pretty flexible.  so maybe I should section the AL portion, then section some of GA.  I am up for it.  I would have to do GA parts this fall.

The more the merrrier.  Well to a point.
