My 09' goals would include meeting some Alatrails folks and joining some of the group activities. ( I now have off Saturdays, WooHoo!) I must say that you all have a wealth of info to be gleened.

Hiking at least two or three days a month.

Learning that I can live without a 40 lb. pack full of "stuff". (go ahead and laugh, no shame in the truth)

Holmes Chapel Falls  as the list gets longer and longer.

BTW anyone know where this one is?

I had to ask Uncle Wayne when I saw it in the gallery... He said it was on a feeder to Rush Creek.

wow, I must be new, but old school with good back, to still consider 35# as light and 45# as not bad because I'm taking more field guide books and sheet music in my cheap, external, plastic frame pack.

I'm hoping to hike farther up the Pinhoti  in GA or some of the B.MacKaye sometime this year. Have no schedule yet however.
