I could be convinced to try a new trail.  Maybe even go to Oak Mtn.  I have never been.

I ended up riding the loop around Homewood/Birmingham/Mt Brook. I was gearing up for Oak Mt when I realized I needed to get my wheels trued. I took them to Bob's Bikes only to be told that they couldn't be trued and they may end up folding over if the downhill is just right. Jackass told me to replace the ones I have when there are many ways to get them back to perfect condition.

- Lesson learned number 1 - Don't believe everything the two faced bicycle store salesmen have to say. I have a lot of $$ in the rims/tires/hubs that are on my bike so it isn't something I look forward to replacing.

- Lesson learned number 2 - Go buy a bicycle mechanic's manual. There is one I semi-inherited from Fattire that has helped in many ways to save me $$ and be more useful on the trail.
