Man, it really bites.  My car went caput.  It is going to cost me a lot to fix and it will be almost 2 months to afford.  So no hiking until I get it back.  I am so depressed.  All I can do is hike short trails close to home and mountain bike.  After missing all this time, I am going to have to arrange and extended trip into Sipsey when I get my car back to celebrate.

There isn't much to hike around here.  I was thinking of bending the rules a bit at Lake Lurleen.  Its about 13 miles around the lake and I am only about 3 miles from the lake.  I was thinking about hiking to the lake and around the back for the night.  There is no camping on the trail, but I thought I could be a little sneaky this weekend.  See how good I can be at leaving no trace.
