Okay. I am doing my Alabama Waterfall Report in segments. Today's segment is the areas I consider to be potentially productive waterfall hunting terrain in Alabama. I will post each update's link to this thread, and when I'm finished, I'll put up a PDF copy. This is a work in progress, so please treat it as such.

There are several waterfalls that I know of in Chambers County and the presence of the falls at Rock Mills and High Shoals makes me think there might be more in Randolph County. I'm surprised that I don't know of more falls around Lake Martin. I only know of one small one on the Camp ASCCA campus but the terrain is rough with many streams.

There's a road in Camden called Shoal Creek road that I'm itching to check out. The rumor of multiple falls in the area and the name "shoal" is provocative.

The waterfall on Catoma Creek in Montgomery was a surprise. I wonder how many other large streams have waterfalls that have escaped my attention.

Oh... And I noticed a mistake on my website. The coords for Little River Falls were actually the coords for the nearby Little Falls. Oops.

By the way... If you see that I missed something, or know something that I don't, please feel free to speak up. I want this to be as useful as possible. BUT... Please do this only for the sections I've covered already at the time you look.

Part V is up. This section is the area north of Birmingham, which took the hardest memory and note loss, so it needs some work. Please tell me if you notice something glaring that I missed. I'm going to try and find my notes for a lot of this...

http://waterfallchasing.b...-report-part-v-north.html

I'd particularly appreciate it if somebody could clarify the names of the waterfalls at Monte Sano.

Edit: Oops... Forgot Nectar and Noccalula Falls. Those are major omissions. I also know I'm missing a few in Blount County.

Josh,Cinderella Falls I just shot a house in that community there is no gate as of yet. I would make the suggestion that any one wanting to shoot this waterfall that you stop at the sales office just as you enter the community

No updates today.

The last two updates will be for Sipsey and Bankhead, and may take a few, and will not be as accurate as the other sections, because there are too many waterfalls to keep track of in some areas.

As previously, I could use some editing assistance, since self-editing only goes so far. Anybody who has a few minutes to read through the sections already posted and check for mistakes, broken links, spelling errors, and falls I may have accidentally omitted (& etc) will be my hero.
