I try to see how little water I can use when I wash my hands. Squirt some soap into palm. Run water at trickle just enough to fill palm. Turn off water. Scrub hands for afew (10-15) seconds. Turn water back on a trickle and rinse. Turn off water. I estimate I use only 3/4 cup vs a quart or more for folks who turn on full-blast and leave on the whole time.

Anyone else have an idea?

I supposed as long as you aren't playing porcelain roulette, water saving games are a great idea...

The only really dirty trick I use to save water is when I water my plants. I have to use distilled water for a few of my orchids, but since they are potted in bark, 90% or more of the water flows right through, so... I place the plants on top of each other and use the runoff to water the less sensitive plants. The game is trying to do it with more than two plants, and to do it without getting water on the leaves.
