Now that the WFR is over and Ive somewhat settled back into civil life...

In scheduling the WFR, I noted that many were not able to attend due to the constraint of being and entire week long class.  I may be in a position to offer Wilderness First Aid.

The WFA class is only 2 days long and would be held over a Saturday/Sunday in Birmingham.

Id like to know if any members here would be interested and able to attend such a class before we move ahead in scheduleing.

Sit quietly for a while and contemplate the precious stillness, that lovely, mysterious and awesome space.  I promise you this one sweet victory, over those deskbound people with their hearts in a safe deposit box and their eyes hypnotized by calculators. : you will outlive the bastards." Yep - me 2!  I'm a canine search & rescue handler with North AL Search Dog Assoc.  We are required to have a basic first aid certification, which I have, but I am definitely interested in the WFA class.  Does it come with a certification from an organization?

If you need the class that urgenly, please take steps to find one on your own.  As for those who have some patience, one is in the works.  It is quite costly and time consuming to program such courses for those who wont go out of their own way to find stuff for themselves...
