For you “GPS hounds” that love the outdoors.......P LEASE READ....You will be glad you did....

TENNESSEE CERTAINLY HAS THEIR ACT TOGETHER!...READ BELOW WHAT INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE TO YOU AT YOUR FINGERTIPS!......
This is a VERY COOL website to go to where you can get hundreds and hundreds of GPS waypoints all over Tennessee and North Carolina......

For example, if you would like the waypoints to every single campsite in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park in Tennessee and North Carolina, you can go to this site. If you have a Garmin, you can click on a link with your GPS plugged into the computer and automatically download these waypoints or a single waypoint DIRECTLY INTO THE GPS......They also have waypoints on every single lake in Tennessee such as Dale Hollow lake, etc....
There are countless waypoints for Cherokee National Forest in Tenn/North Carolina, Big South Fork, Cumberland Trail, Trails around Chattanooga, every single significant waterfall in Tennessee, Waypoints for shelters along the Appalachian Trail,  and the list goes on and on...

Waterfalls?...How about waypoints of every single significant waterfall in the state of Tennessee!!.....Check it out!...

NOTE!-For the GPS end of things-READ CAREFULLY at the bottom of the pages AND THEY GIVE YOU ALL KINDS OF INSTRUCTION ON DOWNLOADING OR GETTING THESE WAYPOINTS INTO YOUR GPS....REGARDLES S OF BRAND...

I ran into this at some point, and was really impressed. TN really DOES have its act together.
