AHTS April Trail Mail Update
 
Before attending any activity, please contact the event’s activity leader. This will ensure that you get the latest information on the hike or event and won’t be surprised to find the activity cancelled or changed.

 

APRIL
 

18-19 Little River State Forest Car Camp (Gulf Coast Chapter) TIME CHANGE

Spend an “evening in the pines” with AHTS. Meet Saturday afternoon at 2PM at the forest office as we explore the Bell Trail for possible routes to re-route the trail. That night we'll spend the evening around the campfire with a pot-luck supper. Sunday morning we'll do some measurements for the new bridges on the Gazebo Trail and we'll be done around noon. May 5 Trail Talk Tuesday (With Apologies to Bill Matthews J ) Gulf Coast Chapter
Sorry, Bill! We liked the title so much we had to borrow it! Join AHTS” Gulf Coast Chapter for their first regular meeting on Tuesday, May 5th, at 6pm at 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center in Spanish Fort. The first meeting will be a “meet and greet”, a chance to meet your fellow hikers in the area and to talk about what AHTS is doing on the Gulf Coast for hikers. May 14 Trail Talk Thursday (Shoals Group)

The Shoals Group meets at 6:30pm the 2nd Thursday of each month at the YMCA, 2121 Helton Dr., Florence, AL. There is always an informative speaker scheduled and a chance to talk hiking with friends old and new. You do not have to be a member of the YMCA or AHTS to attend. 21 Huntsville AHTS Meeting

I know there has been some confusion on the true nature of AHTS. We are actually an eating club with a hiking disorder.
