Can anyone tell me how to get there or even where it is exactly?

I really can't pin it down from either of the maps I have. To say the "Carto-Craft" map is ambiguous about King's Cove would be a bit of an understatement and the "Sipsey Onepage" map doesn't show it at all, though it does have "Schoolhouse Falls" where I think King's Cove is.

I have tried twice to get there and have failed both times.

About a year ago, I tried to get there from the switchback on Road 208 like you were going to Riddle Creek. I had some old directions that I found on the internet that referenced an "old road bed" and an "obvious trail" both going in a a southeasterly direction, neither of which I could find. What I did find was a couple of thousand ticks crawling up me so we aborted and returned to the car to go eat a Subway.

This past Sunday I tried again, this time by going up the first inlet to the west on Thompson Creek north the Sipsey River.

Failed again!

I think I was in the right neighborhood this time. It was easy going until after we passed a large campsite on the south side of the stream but after that the banks got very steep, the bluffs got very high and we got to a section that was very overgrown. We were running short on time and since I wasn't sure I was on the right track or how much farther it was if I was on the right track we decided to abort the mission yet again.

Can anyone help! King's Cove is on my "to do" list and I really want to get there this spring before things start drying up.

Schoolhouse Falls is in King's Cove.

About a year ago, I tried to get there from the switchback on Road 208 like you were going to Riddle Creek. I had some old directions that I found on the internet that referenced an "old road bed" and an "obvious trail" both going in a a southeasterly direction, neither of which I could find.
That's the way we went. Walk about 100 feet north of the parking area at the switchback and you should see the old road and a faint trail. We followed it until it split. From here we continued in the general direction of where King's Cove should be, which is, as you said, a southeasternly direction. We then went down a drainage and came to the top of Schoolhouse or King's Cove Falls. There is no easy way down. We went to the right.

This is approximately the coords for the falls 34.3271703, -87.473359
