Anyone see the latest issue? They had an article about the caves in the Alabama/Tennesse/Georgia area. Nice to see some local sights in National Geographic.

Saw it! I was trying to fit it into another thread, but never got around to it. Very interesting article, and one of the few times in the last few years I've really enjoyed my Nat. Geo. subscription. They have been VERY light on the domestic coverage of late, and this was a nice local diversion.

"It is not enough to fight for the land; it is even more important to enjoy it while you can, while it is still there. So go out there and hunt and fish and mess around.  Ramble out yonder, explore the forests, encounter the grizz, climb the mountains, bag the peaks, run the rivers, breathe deep of that yet sweet and lucid air. Sit quietly for a while and contemplate the precious stillness, that lovely, mysterious and awesome space.  I promise you this one sweet victory, over those deskbound people with their hearts in a safe deposit box and their eyes hypnotized by calculators. : you will outlive the bastards." I knew I shouldn't have let my subscription run up a couple of months ago! I'm gonna swing in to the supermarket to pick this one up.
