Well in that case we will have to discount the 1/2 for Auburn because that was a tie in 1957 with Ohio State and prior to 1960 Auburn did not exist, they were Alabama Polytechnic Institute.

The other numbers stand.

It seems appropriate this time of the year to readdress this post. The above link is a rant by a sour grapes Auburn fan. The NCAA does not recognize a national champion for division 1 football because there is no play off system. They do keep records of national championships awarded to division 1 football teams by other legitimate sources. They list Alabama with 17 while Alabama only claims 13. They list Auburn with 0 but maybe this is there year.

I guess it does depend not only on how but who – a sour grapes Auburn fan or the NCAA.

I'm guessing there are never any sour grapes Bama fans out there huh?  All I've heard from Bama fans lately is wha wha wha, lucky, wha wha, cheating, wha wha, we have 13 national Championships.

How many of those National Championships has any of these Bama fans ever been a part of?  My guess is 99% of the time, NONE.  Is college football really that important that people have to be jackarses to each other over it?  I mean it's really about as important to your well being as how many times Lindsay Lohan has been in rehab.

We even have people at work now that hate football hoping Bama loses so the fans will just finally shut their traps.  It's rediculous.  and WTH does any of this have to do with a friggen backpack?

My frigging backpack is a frameless Go Lite. I replaced a larger pack with the Go Lite because the
new pack had mesh pockets that gave me access to quick need items that I had previously only
accessed by opening the old pack.
