Just made a super cat alcohol stove. Its works great . On my stove at home I got a 3 min boil time on two cups of water and, in 15 min I was eating roman noddles.
There are photos on my page of the stove in action. ( I have not figured out how to post on hear)

the stove was filled to about 1/8th inch from the holes. i was able to cook the noddles till done and then rinse and refill the pot and get water hot enough to wash up with before it went out. i am going to try making one with smaller holes and see what happens.
