I'm going to be leaving in the morning for a three day hike inthe smokeys. I'm just wondering if any one has done the area we are going to and how hard it will be. We will start on the Deep Creek Trail and go thru the Noland Crek Trail. I think it's about 20 miles give or take and looking to do about 7 ish miles a day. I was told it was a can't miss trip.Any info I can get today would be great because I'm tryin to deside how to pack. I've never hike the smokeys so I have no idea what I'm in for. Thanks

For elevations, take the hi and low temps of the nearby towns and subtract 10. I did the Big Creek-Swallow Fork-Baxter Creek loop back in Feb w/ a couple of inches of snow around. Temps this weekend will be 70s to 40s, in town an prob atleast 10 deg cooler on the peaks.  I'll be in Erwin area hiking on the AT.
