We are planning a trip the The Okefenokee sometime in February 2010. I will know an exact date in Dec. A few other firemen coworkers and myself are planning a 3 day 2 night trip starting at Stephen Foster State Park. If anyone is interested get intouch with me for details.
The Okefenokee is a very beautiful unspoiled place with lots of history, snakes & gators. We planned for Feb so we could maybe eliminate the mosquito factor. Anyway if you have any questions feel free to ask. Carl W.

Was there in March. A really great place. If you can be sure and go over to the east side. It is open prairies. The Sand Hill Cranes are magnificent.
