Hey Matthew, I have been doing what I can to help promote this site. It would be very helpful If we had a Mountain Bike friendly flyer to put out or maybe a line on the existing flyer that lets people know this is both for Hiking and Mountain Biking.

Thanks for all you do.

Matthew -- tried to download that pdf document and only got a blank page.  Not sure what's up with that.  If you can get a copy to me, I'll hand them out at the next meeting of the Sipsey Wilderness Hiking Club and they'll help get the word out about the web site.

Thanks for pointing that out. Apparently it got lost in the move to the new server a bit back. I will reupload it soon. We actually have a new flyer that my lovly wife created but it is kind of large and I am trying to get it compressed down.

I will reupload it this morning.

Matthew,

what would be an authorized, vs. unauthorized, location?

Trailheads? reading room stalls at public parks near trails? on political signs all over our yards and roadways?

Nice, direct approach on the flier, excellent I think. Could you put the dotted line in between all the tear-offs

Basically if you don't have permission to put it there, don't. As much as I appreciate many peoples enthusiasm for AlaTrails I would appreciate it if they would ask permission before posting these things. We can have everybody in Alabama signed up to AlaTrails but if one more bit of trash gets created for the trail maintenance crews then it is not worth it.
As for the dotted line we are are working on some new flyers and should have them out soon.
Also don't forget the AlaTrails Shirt Shack.

I don't think so.

Maybe we'll do a cafe press thing or something along those lines.

Matthew,
It has been my experience that most printers can print bumper stickers. If they dont do it in house, they can have it done for you, or direct to someone who can.

Has anyone come up with a design for the bumper stickers? There used to be a place called Auto Trim and Design in Montgomery that would make any sticker you would like, but there office caught fire last year so I'm not sure if they have reopened or are located somewhere else. Ill look in to it.
