Help BUMP build two miles of single track in two days.  In cooperation with Bike Link and Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park, we will begin building an 11 mile singletrack mountain bike trail the weekend of November 14th-15th 2009. Our goal for this first of many work weekends is to complete two miles of singletrack trail to compliment the 4.5 miles of existing dirt road. This will create a 6.5 mile ridable loop which will ultimately be expanded to approximately 11 miles of singletrack.

Ambitious? Yes, but  this is the first two miles of an 11 mile single track trail to be built at Tannehill State Park.  This two mile section will join an existing 4 mile dirt road and provide an immediate 6 mile loop.

The Park is providing free camping.  BUMP will have a fire ring on Saturday night.

We are each limited in terms of time and energy. If we try to do too much, we do everything half-rate. How much better it is to clearly sort out what is really important to us, and then give ourselves to those things or people wholeheartedly.  -- Unknown

If it gets too long since I've been on the river, I'll sit on the toilet and flush a few times to make myself feel better. -- Ron Morris
