How deep is Capsey this time of year? Over waist deep?

I would guess that it is that deep in areas. I didn't see any areas that I would be hesitant to cross due to depth.

Speaking of water mammals: Capsey is the place where we saw a beautiful Southern River Otter frolicking in the stream!

The T shaped waterfall is where we saw a otter.

So there have been repeated sightings of the otter there. Cool! I saw one on the tributary to Eagle Creek I use to get to the falls, but only once, and I don't think anybody else has seen one there.

Maybe I'll consider a hike in that area just to look for the otter.

Something large jumped in the Sipsey before I could see it in that area today. It may be otter pal!
