This link(   http://www.trailjournals.com/entry.cfm?id=293111  ) has nothing to do with the Pinhoti except that the Pinhoti is basically an extention of the trails running the Appalachian Mtns.  Anyway, Stumpknocker is back on the AT and making almost real time trip reports.  His reports are really detailed, almost like allowing you to accopany him without the pain and rain.  I thought some of you might want to follow his trip.   Also, I've used his trip reports when planning section hikes because the maps do not do justice to what you will encounter and you'll know the status of water as he passes.  Happy Reading
