Does anyone have any knowledge about "Welcome Falls" on Fall Creek?  It is located on Brindley Mountain in southeastern Morgan County.  Does anyone have pictures?  The topographic features of the area look very interesting.

Josh had a link to it off of his blog site, to a place called jeffperryphotogr aphy.com.  It doesn't load, and if you google it, there are one or two pages that pop up notating it'd been hacked.  He'd already created a .org of the same name, but it doesn't load as well.  None of his waterfall photos are on his flickr site either.  Digging for water on the moon here, oh wait...

I've been to Welcome Falls however, only ventured about 50 feet passed the private property or no trespassing sign (can't remember which one). Here is the picture I did take though. It's a large waterfall.

Nice picture.  I was afraid to cross the property boundary and didn't get a picture.

"It is not enough to fight for the land; it is even more important to enjoy it while you can, while it is still there. So go out there and hunt and fish and mess around.  Ramble out yonder, explore the forests, encounter the grizz, climb the mountains, bag the peaks, run the rivers, breathe deep of that yet sweet and lucid air. Sit quietly for a while and contemplate the precious stillness, that lovely, mysterious and awesome space.  I promise you this one sweet victory, over those deskbound people with their hearts in a safe deposit box and their eyes hypnotized by calculators. : you will outlive the bastards." CLOSED TO VISITATION.

The owners of Welcome Falls closed it to public visitation several years ago. The photographer who took the photos I linked to told me it was due to a fall.
