Cherokee Alpine Ridge Trail?

I keep hearing mention of this place, and there seems to be a website up, although I'm having problems loading some of it. Anyone know exactly where this is, and would it be worth the trip to see? I've heard it's something like 30 miles of trail now.

The Cherokee Alpine Trail is located near Martin Dam on Lake Martin. To get to the trail if going east on SH50 cross the bridge below the dam and look for hiking sign, turn left at the first road on your left and go approx. one mile, the trailhead is at the parking lot. At this location you have approx. eight miles of trail. Another trail that is associated with CRATA is on down the road from the parking lot. To get to The Deadening Trail drive approx. 1-1/4 mi. turn into the Harbor Entrance and keep to the left, at the bottom of hill look for dirt path on left, parking lot is out this path, the Deadening Trail is approx. four miles long but difficult to hike for a novice hiker.

I enjoyed the trails, although there is alot of trash on and around the trail (especially near the water and beaches). I carried out as much as I could. The deadening alpine trail is a cool trail, I just wish it was longer. Maybe one day they will extend the trails down by the dam. I heard rumors of a trail off of the old gold mine road at the top of the hill before the dam bridge.
