Does such a trail exist?

I know the Florida Trail connector extends from North Hurricane Lake campground in FL to the Alabama border. Is there a trail that starts at the Alabama border and proceeds northward through the Conecuh National Forest? If it does, does this trail connect with the Conecuh Trail? Thanks, fellow hikers.

From what I've heard, there is a preliminary trail flagged through the NF from the state line to the existing Conecuh Tail. You would need to contact Eric Douglas, who lives in Andalusia I believe, with Alabama Hiking Trail Society for the exact status as he's worked with Forest Service on this.

Y'know, if they could figure out some way to connect the Pinhoti with the Florida Trail, that would be rather spectacular.
