I am thinking of upgrading my HH Expedition tarp. For all the hangers out there what type set up do you have?

OES
tarps are top of the list for me.
Speer
tarps are nice also.
There are lots of new folks out there making really good
hammock accessories.
Are you looking for a winter tarp, summer, all around?

I second what Hetairoi said about both Outdoor Equipment Supplier and Speer Tarps.
I frequently use my OES MacCat DeluxeTarp during warmer weather. Its catenary cut allows a quick taut pitch every time.
With a "front porch".
Hammock Tarps
Battened down for weather.

In cooler weather I prefer my Speer Winter Tarp.
It is VERY roomy in "porch" mode.
Hammock Tarps
But when the cold wind blows, the end flaps block out virtually all wind.
Hammock Tarps
I've used it in 18 degree weather with wind chills below zero, and it was a champ!

Another vote for the Speer Winter tarp and a vote for the JRB 10x10 for summer use. It is light and only needs two stakes.

Thanks for all the advice everyone, I think I am going to order the Speer Winter Tarp tonight.
What type rope do you use for the tie outs and ridge lines?
