I am aware that Cooper Falls can be reached by boat on Pickwick Lake.  Does anyone know if it is reasonably accessible by hiking into the area?  If so, where do you recommend parking the vehicle for the hike?  Any other helpful info on the Cooper Falls area would be appreciated.

I purposely kept the volume off, but it at least shows what the waterfall looks like.

This Link  gives a photo and the location  "in J P Coleman State Park, Iuka, MS 38852, USA 34° 58' 3.63" N  88° 11' 15.32" W  "

Ohhhhhhh... That waterfall.

If that location is accurate then a land route should be possible. However, looking at that video makes me think it will be hard to view from land.

Thanks, Sam, for the video.  My concern about accessibility for driving and then hiking in, is concerning the old Yellow Creek Nuclear Plant" site.  I am not sure if the road is blocked at the plant site.  That is my only concern.  I think if getting past the plant site is achievable, then I could park down near Hubbard Cemetery and easily drop down into the hollow where Cooper Creek flows to the waterfall.  I know that at one time, the road was blocked for security reasons.  Does anyone have updated info on this?

If we find out that hiking to the falls is doable, does anyone want to get together and tackle it?

There is a large Bald Eagle population nearby I might be interested in visiting.

I stand corrected. The aerial makes it look like there is a sandbar with a decent view. Access would likely be via County Route 320. However, that looks to be private land surrounding on three sides including the only viable access. Plus, the falls might be on private property themselves. The coordinates aren't that good. However, assuming the falls is within the property boundary but access is cut off, following the shoreline is a tedious, time-consuming, but potentially possible solution.

Might be a good idea to contact JP Coleman State Park and determine where their property boundary is, before planning any further.

I make a move that we re-name this one "Drunk Bubba Falls."
