Assuming the weather holds I'd like to get back out there this weekend.  I'd favor Braziel or Clifty, but I'm malleable, and probably pretty easily talked into something else.  I'm definitely fixated on exploring some area with potential to see shelters/mortar stones and/or glyphs of some kind.   Braziel looks most interesting with the snake carvings, the turkey foot petroglyph and several shelters along the route.  Josh has expressed interest.  Anyone else game for it?

That is actually an area I haven't hiked. It sounds very interesting. Thanks for the info Sam. Have fun on the hike.

I'm still interested for Saturday, but cannot do Sunday. Forecast is: "Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Breezy, with a southeast wind between 10 and 20 mph."

Lousy for photography with the wind, so a good day for a general, non-waterfall hike. Plus, there is at least some "trail" coverage in Braziel and Clifty.

Any idea on a time? I'm assuming Borden Trailhead?

Just getting home now, and I have to go in tomorrow for a while because the project didn't get finished.  My weekend's effectively shot, unfortunately.  Sad

Bummer man.

I'll catch you on an upcoming weekend. I think maybe I'll head to somewhere east instead. Anybody interested in hiking in TN this weekend? I'm considering Savage Gulf, one of the pocket wildernesses, Big South Fork, or maybe something else.
