NICE.

I'll be in there tomorrow picking up a Mountain Hardware Epic Jacket.

For a basic shell, good rain protection, lightweight jacket, what do you think? Good deal, go elsewhere, get the same thing cheaper with someone else? I have approximately $140.

it figures, they have a sale like this AFTER I have bought everything I needed. two inexpensive packs for my sons, sleeping bag, North Face mtn light jacket, MSR Mutha Hubba tent, gps, new msr cooking set, and 3 compression sacks. The money I could've saved!!
Dont imagine they would let me bring this stuff back and re-buy it at sale prices would they?  Grin

I went to the Homewood store Saturday evening and got a great deal on a North Face 15d goose-down "Blue Kazoo" sleeping bag.  $229 normally, got it for 1/2 off.  I tested the bag in the store, and it is pretty light, very toasty, and compresses VERY SMALL - great combination!  Thanks for the heads-up, Cuffs!

When i went last Saturday, AO had a nice pair of Men's Scarpa boots for 1/2 off.  I looked and liked!  Went back last night(Homewood) to look at some raingear for my daughter, and also to purchase the boots.  No longer on sale!  When i asked, the guy said the sale was off, so i missed it by a few days.  Should have bought them last Saturday...

Hey, Roger's out on 280 had a gigantic sale (their Winter Clearance) going on when I was in there on Sunday (they're on my side of town).  All the major brands 30, 40, 50% off.  Royal Robbins is one of my favorite brands, and I got some of their zip-off pants for less than $20.  The North Face, Columbia, Mountain Hardwear, Arc'teryx, and others all on on sale.

The venture (and epic and precip and rain shadow) are not on sake as they are year-round staples for rain wear.

I would also venture to say that Rogers has "select" items on sale and not everything across the board is on sale ( I know this to be true as their buyer is our former buyer and I spoke to him on Sunday)

What happened to the AO on 280?  I've shopped there several times, but this time I pulled up in the parking lot and it was an empty building.
