OK just as the subject line states, what are the most scenic parts of the Pinhoti trail to you?

That's a loaded question!  I love the 18 miles from Bulls Gap to Porter's Gap, due to overlooks.  Also, i love the section from Coleman Lake to Cty Rd 55, due to the long creek walk.

The section between Adams Gap and Cheaha SP offer great views the closer you get to Cheaha.

The BEST view on the trail is technically a 1/2-mile off the trail, but well worth the walk to Bald Rock in Cheaha SP.

Oh, the pearly gates.....

and somewhere past the north duggar mtn shelter but before the dam I camped up near the ridge line some 5 1/2 years ago and took a photo of this view back west or southwestward toward Duggar.

I guess it depends on what your definition of scenic is.  I personally could not choose if my life depended on it.  Every millimeter of Pinhoti Trail is special and causes me to re-create fun memories and scenes.

I agree, from the sections that I have completed, each one has it's on special scenes.
