I would like to maybe hike this trail during spring break. I have googled some, with no luck finding any useful information. I have also seen a couple of pics on the site from Matt and Phreak, and would like to know the best driving directions to the trail. Are there any loops to be made in two or three nights? Are there multiple trailheads in Ga.? Would this time of the year be a bad time to go if I don't have a 0* sleeping bag? Thanks in advance for any info.

Regarding the weather, when is your spring break? They tend to vary within a range of a few weeks, and a few weeks in March makes a huge difference. Wink

Troy has spring break from Mar. 6-14. My plans are to finish the Al. Pinhoti, starting friday March 5th at the north fs500 trailhead, ending in Cave Springs on the 7th. Since I will already be in Georgia, I would like to make it to the Bartram trail, and backpack there for a couple days. On my way way back through Alabama, I will stop by Cheaha for a couple of days and do some trail work with AHTS until Sunday.
