I'll have to look into these....I have a pair from this website I take hiking  http://www.simpleshoes.co...px?g=m&categoryid=106

They're not terribly waterproof, but they are quite comfortable.

Check out END shoes. I have read a lot of good reviews about their durability and they are super light weight. Alabama Outdoors carries them and I thought they were pretty nice. I was going to get a pair for hiking but my size was out on the one I really wanted.

The tread on these looks awfully shallow. But then I'm the type who likes to feel my tread really bite down and grip the ground like teeth. They laugh when I try on shoes at the gear shops. I'll stand on the top part of the incline and hop just to make sure I can feel a good grip. One day I'm probably going to bust hard.
