I'm going a round about way at the moment before I setup a meeting.

Some would like to lead you to believe that geocaching is "illegal" in Wilderness areas.

Geocaching is not "illegal" in the Sipsey Wilderness.  The statute states that you cannot "store personal property" on Wilderness lands. So, if you leave a container in the wilderness, you are violating the statute.

Earth Caches are perfectly acceptable as they do not violate any of the statutes.

I have a disclaimer on all my geocaches in the sipsey wilderness that read if the cache is missing then this is an earth cache...just send me a picture!

Problem solved.

As requested We have removed all of my geocaches in the sipsey wilderness area. I am now ready to go to some waterfalls which hopefully will be rolling this weekend with all this rain.
