There are many color choices for paracord these days ranging from glow in the dark to pink camo patterns.

Most backpackers that I know or chat with on the trail carry between 50 and 100 feet of cord for numerous reasons (repairs, bear-bagging, clothes line...)

The cord that you carry, do you care what the color is?  If you would include why, it would be appreciated.

I've always liked Coyote Tan. I'm a paracord geek. I love cord wrapping knife hilts, flashlights, etc and making cobra stitch bracelets and watchbands. 550 Paracord is the greatest thing since duck tape. (Yeah, I said duck, cuz when have you ever used it on a duct? Duck refers to it's water resistance and sounds more awesomer!)

A little tip for those who never want to forget their paracord. You can cord wrap it around the top shaft of your trekking pole so you always have it in an emergency. This will give you 30-40 feet or so depending on your wrap.

I found a 1600 ft roll on ebay. It is white 2mm 200# cord. I think I got it for $15 bucks if anyone needs some. It works great for everything. Carl W.
