Visited a friend and had her take me to Starved Rock while I was there. Beautiful. Hot but beautiful. This park has about 13 miles of trails. No backpacking all day hikes but there are lots to choose from. You have rim hikes and canyon hikes along the river trail. A beautiful lodge, cabins and campground also. It's not far from Chicago so it can be busy and was this weekend but they've a lot of rain so the waterfalls were running pretty good. Putting some pictures in my area.
