There was 3 boat stolen from my Mother IN laws house in Hazlegreen yesterday.
1 Wilderness Systems Pungo 120 in orange (My boat, and can be seen in my gallery)
1 Dagger Gradient in Blue and Black with a front bumper cap.
1 Perception Dancer in red with no backband.
A police report has been filed, and serial numbers are inclueded on the police report.
If anyone has seen boats fitting this description please notify the police, and PM me so that I can identify the boats if needed. There are some identifying markings on these boats as well as serial numbers. The Dancer doesn't have a serial number, but is easily identified.

Hey, wirerat, didn't noticed you lived in huntsville too! I occasionally go to the limestone flea market, so I'll keep an eye out for them.

Thanks Firedog.
I figure they'll pop up somewhere. Hopefully before the insurance settlement. I'll take my Pungo 120 back regardless of insurance replacement lol. If it's mid river run, they'll just have to walk out.
Outside of whitewater that's been my favorite boat EVER. I don't think there is a better 12' kayak on the market. It's why the hull design itself haven't changed since the first one hit the water.

The only solace to the whole deal is homeowners insurance will cover them with modern equivalent equipment.
So the owner of the Gradient, and the Dancer is gonna get a good upgrade. The Pungo 120 replaced has some upgrades as well though so it's cool. I just can't gut someone getting away with it.

It would be covered under homeowners, but keep in mind the deductible on the homeowners policy. I'm not sure how much the total of the three would be.

One thing. If you are likely to change the policy you are planning on making the claim through in the next 3 years be aware that it will come back to haunt you . I Made a similar claim on renters insurance the year before I bought the house I am in now and I am have been regretting it ever since.

I work with an insurance company here in Montgomery and if you have 2 claims in the past three years we cant write the policy, if you have one calim you are required to have a $1000 ded. and 1% wind hail ded.

Yeah, they already have gone through that later last week, and it would be a $1000 deductible. So she's not going to claim it. And I'm just screwed out of a $800+ boat. I'm somewhat furious, if I see my boat out there, it will come home on top of my car. I don't care if whomever has it has to walk 50 miles out of the woods. Every paddling community from east Mississippi to west Georgia has been notified of these boats being stolen.
If someone purchases them unaware, then they aren't out of the cave much.
