Been reading a very interesting and fact filled book about the Appalachian Trail and the Georgia Appalachian Trail Club. The historical accounts of the southern part of the AT, its planning, debate, etc., are very interesting. Not near finishing yet, but was wondering if others had read this book - Friendships of the Trail: The History of the Georgia Appalachian Trail Club 1930 - 1980.
